Overseas Students
Both the university and the Union can offer students from overseas advice
on the particular concerns of finance, employment, permission to stay in the
UK, going on holiday etc. There is an International Centre, on the 2nd floor
of the Union, where overseas students can go for information and advice (confidentiality
is guaranteed) and there is also an Overseas Student Officer ( 4th floor;
vice-president's office ) who can help you out. If you are interested, there
are lots of cultural societies based at the Union, giving overseas students
the opportunity to meet and socialise with people from a similar background.
You can leave a note with the Union reception staff if you would like to get
