Year 1 ENTS Rep Elections

Hi everyone, I’m Scott Stevens and I would like to stand as our Medicine first year ents rep. As a friendly, outgoing person I believe I am ideal for this role and I will strive to ensure that we as freshers take advantage of everything the Meds, Galenicals and the rest of Bristol has to offer. I’m easily approachable and looking forward to hearing all your ideas and making them happen. No voice is too small and the more ideas the better to make sure Bristol Medicine ents are the best yet.

I’m really keen to set up a weekly student night schedule where you’ll be able to find out what’s happening every night of the week, this way it’ll be easier to relax from the stresses and strains we have in the week (plus we all love a good excuse). I hope it will help everyone to have they best social Bristol experience. I’d also like to organise exclusive med fresher events so we can unite as a year.

I’ve met lots of our year already – and those of you who don’t know me I’m really looking forward to meeting you. I want to make sure we have the best possible year(s) in Bristol. If you want the same, please vote for me!

Our names are Emily Benson and Natalia Harmes and we would really really really like to be first year ents reps!! We are both VERY understanding of medics’ needs to let off steam and we think that we would be perfect promoters of general medic banter. Our (partying) attendance since arriving is basically 100% and we now feel ready to share our love of the Bristol nightlife with others in our year!! We are both up for creating lots of first year events because we think that, with 5 years ahead of us, rit is important for us to get to know each other on many levels… in lectures and on the dance floor; stone cold sober and after ten Agent Oranges etc etc. INNNN addition to this we are keen to learn from those more mature, sensible and clever than ourselves (2nd years +… :s ) and we would love to meet up other Galenicals ents reps to discuss potential events for our year and to help sell tickets for huge med school events…. PLEASE give us the chance to do what we do best (socialise, organise and have a tipple or 2)
