Meducation.net – New Website

Hi there,

We’re writing to let all Bristol students know about a new medical education website called Meducation (http://www.meducation.net) – the Online Medical Education Network. It is a free resource, hosting medical tutorials in a wide range of formats including:

• Podcasts
• Videos
• Powerpoints
• Medical images
• Wiki-style notes
• Exam questions (including MCQs, EMQs and ‘best of five’)

The site is community-based, allowing you to create and join groups relevant to your interests and studies, message coursemates/friends, and upload your own videos/podcasts/slideshows etc.

When it comes round to exam time, you can take advantage of the Meducation Exam Room with our huge database of questions, creating your own custom exams and tracking your progress over time. You can even share exams you’ve taken with your friends and publish results to your News Feed. The site is fully linked into Facebook, allowing you to have a one-click login and share news between the sites.

We’ve created various groups specifically for Bristol University students, with a central page linking them together. Here, you can find media and exams that are relevant to your syllabus and studies. The site is constantly growing, so as you discover relevant material on Meducation, you can link it back to your groups for others to use.
