Bristol Medical School is fast gaining a reputation as one of the leading medical schools to embrace opportunities for international exchange, research and travel.

This isn’t just limited to the thriving Erasmus programme offered in the third year; language classes, an intercalated BSc in International Health, External SSCs and the 5th year Elective are just some of the opportunities on offer. And if that isn’t enough, there’s numerous student-led groups focussing on International Health issues, proposing global health awareness, campaigns and socially responsible travel.

You don’t need to speak a language to be interested in international issues. Many of us will consider working abroad at some stage in our career, so getting involved now may widen your postgraduate employment opportunities.

  • Second year language SSCs or language exchange.
