Academic F2 Programmes

• The application system is completely separate from MTAS.
• With the academic F2 programmes, you apply specifically for a 2 year programme which will include an academic component in the F2 year. (In the foundation years there are 6 units- in the academic programme, one of the 3 F2 units will be an academic placement.)
• There is an application form to be completed with questions about presentations, publications, teaching experience and other achievements. If chosen, applicants are then invited for interviews.
• The whole process runs between May and September in your 4th year.
