Clinical Vice President Job Description

This role acts as the main point of contact for students in clinical years to help address concerns surrounding welfare issues. The position would be working closely with the Pre-Clinical Vice President to help improve and maintain the newly set up 4th year tutor scheme, the peer led academic tutoring system and the peer mentoring system. To ensure the pastoral needs of clinical year students are being met, regular contact with the Student Advisor and third year reps are needed.

Alongside this, the role involves regular meeting with the Academy Deans and members of the faculty to communicate the needs and concerns of clinical students working in their placements, and to ensure information is then passed onto the students themselves.

Working well alongside the pre-clinical vice president is key!
